A last minute blast of color from the few trees in our suburban postage stamp of a lot.

Saturday morning was opening day for the 2008-2009 fox hunting season here in East Tennessee. The weather was a bit sketchy, but the company was flawless and the horses were beautiful. This is a wonderful sport for photography and a number of riders were also photographers.

I rarely find time for local scenery unless my kids are in it. But this day I found time to stop and shoot the Tennessee river as it rounds the UT campus.

Had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Amanda and Justin a couple of weeks ago. They seem a lovely couple and I wish them nothing but happiness.
